LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Actress Jessica Biel wishes that in real life she could wield the mean wit that comes so easily to her character in "Easy Virtue" but says she is too nice to cut down her rivals.

Biel, 27, said she loved playing the brazen American race car driver who marries into a snobbish British family in the movie, which is based on the 192Os play by Britain's Noel Coward.

"I don't get many of these opportunities," Biel told reporters.

"What was very different for me to really grasp was just her incredible comebacks. I wish I was like that. I'm just a little bit too nice. It's really boring."

Biel, who sprang to fame as a rebellious teen in 1996 on the U.S. family television show "7th Heaven," said she studied the screen work of the late Katharine Hepburn and her contemporaries to play the role of Larita Whittaker.

"Just how they deliver their sarcastic, amazing put-downs with a smile," said Biel, whose past films include 2006 mystery "The Illusionist" and 2007 comedy "I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry."

"Easy Virtue" opens in limited release in New York and Los Angeles on Friday. The movie, directed by Australian Stephen Elliott, is not a typical adaptation of a play by Coward, whose work chronicled British high society in the mid-20th century.

The ‘Transformers’ actress has fuelled rumours she has reconciled with ‘Beverly Hills, 90210′ actor Brian after they were spotted looking at apartments in California’s Santa Monica area.
A source said: “Megan wanted great ocean views because she loves the beach and spotting dolphins. And they said they needed several bedrooms and lots of privacy.”

Although the couple are back together, Megan wasn’t wearing her engagement ring while viewing properties.
The 22-year-old actress split from Brian, 35, in February amid reports their three-year relationship had “run its course”.
Just days later they reconciled after deciding they couldn’t be apart.
The brunette beauty - who is regularly voted the world’s sexiest woman - recently revealed she is having a hard time coping with the way she is perceived and would rather concentrate on acting.

Walt Disney Pictures' "Hannah Montana: The Movie," the first nonconcert feature starring the 16-year-old starlet, is expected to open at No. 3 across the United States and Canada, behind reigning champ "Fast & Furious" and former No. 1 "Monsters vs. Aliens," according to studio projections.

Box office watchers think another new release, the Seth Rogen comedy "Observe and Report," will take the No. 4 spot.

Disney hopes "Hannah Montana" will perform in the same range as 2003's "The Lizzie McGuire Movie," another big-screen vehicle for a Disney Channel star, in that case Hilary Duff. "Lizzie" opened to $17.3 million in 2003, and ended its domestic run with $42.7 million.

"We would love to be in the high teens," said Chuck Viane, president of domestic theatrical distribution at the Walt Disney Co-owned studio.

Business will get a boost from the Easter holiday, with three-quarters of children out of school on Friday and half of them also off on Monday, Viane said.

Turning 18 less than year ago, the actress went out to multiple clubs last night such as Whisky Mist in Mayfair and Bungalow 8, then struggled walking home at 2:30 am.

The “Harry Potter” star was glammed up on her way to the clubs, but reportedly left looking a little worse for wear.

Since turning 18 last April, Miss Watson has become a regular on London’s party scene, as well as at the front row fashion shows in Paris.

The young actress says that, although she has a social status, she is absolutely no party girl. She told the Mail on Sunday’s Live magazine, “’I’m not tempted by parties or drugs. I don’t actually like being drunk, particularly in public.”

Although Watson was a bit disheveled leaving, she says, “But I do understand why people get sucked into a party lifestyle. I can see how it happens so I’d never criticize someone who gets into all that. It can be pretty tough.”

As she turned 18, Emma has had many other interesting offers – but cannot see herself as a sex symbol to the media. Explaining, she said, “I know everyone wants a picture of me in a mini skirt. But that’s not me. It’s nothing to do with protecting the Hermoine image. I’d never go out in a miniskirt.”

Watson is also taking a break from education, although she just received her A levels last year and wants to go to a university soon. “ I actually think going to a university will make me a better actress. The experience of living like that, working to deadlines, living with other students. It’s all the things I want.”

Also happening in Watson’s life is an approach by Greenpeace to become an ambassador for the environmental charity. “Emma would be perfect for us. She’s posh, pretty, brainy, and committed. She’s also not too star struck to care if it’s seen as vaguely controversial. She would really help.”

Meanwhile, Emma will next to be seen playing Hermione Granger in “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” in July।

Sources have revealed that the supermodel hit the roof after she discovered the vial along with love letters sent to ‘The Kills’ guitarist by his ex-girl and ‘Raveonettes’ front woman Sharin Foo.

“He was obsessed with Sharin and kept the vial and letters. It wasn’t like he used to get them out and read them all the time. He could just never bring himself to throw them away,” the Sun quoted a source as saying.

“But now Kate’s found them she’s gone through the roof. She has demanded to know why Jamie had all these reminders of a past relationship,” the source added.

The source further revealed that Kate had always had doubts concerning Hince’s past with Sharin whom he dated in 2004, and hated the fact that he’d kept the souvenirs.

The source added: “The pair took to wearing each other’s blood in vials around their necks and exchanged romantic notes when they were away on tour. Jamie kept them all.”
